The Artist

My artistic style is influenced from skateboarding, graffiti, and modern art from the Bay Area, CA. I am currently taking those influences to create my own style of El Paso/Borderland Texas art. It’s a fusion of my background with the desert, Mexican-American folk art, and general feel of the area.

To kick start this campaign. I created a series called Desert Showgirls. It is a series of sugar skulls that have Las Vegas showgirl headdresses that are made out of desert plants. It’s my own expression of the unique fusion of Mexican and American Culture on the Border. Enjoy!
