Sunflower Series

I decided to do a 8x8 sunflower series because they are strong colorful flowers that bloom in the desert. I wanted to create my own spin on them. I took inspiration from unique patterns of color like thermal body heat and others.

Before I started the series an old rugby player James Murrah @ecstaticzeitgeist that I coached contacted me about completing an art project for school. The assignment was a photojournalistic story about a subject for 4 days. We decided to photograph a art piece from start to finish at local coffee shops. It was a lot of fun and a unique project to be apart of. I definitely felt fake famous being photographed in public.
