Chalk The Block 2023

CTB is the biggest art festival that is held in El Paso Texas annually. The city shuts down all the streets for people to sidewalk chalk wherever they like. New murals are created and live art exhibitions happen. It’s a great time.

One of the main events is 52 artists creating live sidewalk chalk murals over two days. There are 3 categories: student artists, emerging artists, and showcase artists.

I decided to enter this year along side 142 other artists. Out of the 52 spots available I got selected for showcase (1 out 12 spots). I am extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity. I will do my absolute best to create a great art piece to make my community proud. More info to come. Again overwhelmed with joy. Hope to see everyone there!
